Meta Platforms, Inc. has a collaboration with Microsoft Corporation, NVIDIA Corporation, Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Broadcom Inc., and OpenAI, L.L.C. The company was formerly known as Facebook, Inc. and changed its name to Meta Platforms, Inc. in October 2021. The company was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Menlo Park, California.

What exactly is METAx?+
METAx is an on-chain token that tracks the price of Meta Platforms, Inc. (META). Each token is collateralized 1:1 by the underlying u.s. equity, issued by Backed Finance AG and held in licensed Swiss custody.
Is owning METAx the same as owning META?+
Economically, the token tracks the underlying price. Legally, you own a tokenized representation — not the underlying security itself. You do not have shareholder rights, voting rights, or rights against the issuing company. Dividends, where applicable, are passed through under the issuer's mechanism.
How is METAx priced?+
