These terms govern eligibility for the 7-day trading streak reward program offered by Lume Foundation to verified users with a Nigerian Onramper account. The program pays $15 USD-equivalent in a randomly selected tokenised U.S. equity to users who complete seven consecutive eligible trade days. The program is designed to reward genuine trading activity and is operated with active anti-abuse enforcement.
1. Eligibility
The streak reward is available to natural persons who have:
- A Lume account with email or wallet sign-in completed
- A verified Onramper account on Nigerian rails (NGN funding or off-ramp)
- Not been previously suspended from any Lume reward program
Lume operates a strict one-account-per-personrule for reward eligibility. Multiple accounts associated with the same natural person, device, IP address, funding source, KYC identity, on-chain wallet cluster, or referral chain are deemed sybil and disqualified from rewards. Disqualified accounts may also be suspended at Lume’s discretion.
2. Streak mechanics
- A streak day is a 24-hour window in West Africa Time (WAT, UTC+1), starting at 00:00 WAT.
- A user’s streak counter advances by one for each streak day in which the user completes at least one eligible trade (defined in §3).
- Seven (7) consecutive streak days complete a streak and trigger a reward.
- Missing any single streak day resets the counter to zero. A user may begin a new streak the following day.
- A user may earn at most one reward per calendar week (Mon 00:00 WAT – Sun 23:59 WAT) regardless of streak completion timing.
3. Eligible trade — definition
A single executed trade qualifies as an eligible trade for streak purposes if and only if all of the following are satisfied:
- 1Notional value at execution is $20 USD-equivalent or greater. Lume uses the spot oracle price at the moment of execution.
- 2The trade involves at least one non-stablecoin asset on either the buy or sell side. Stablecoin-to-stablecoin swaps (USDC ↔ USDT, USDC ↔ USDY, and similar) are not eligible.
- 3The position is held for at least 30 minutes before any closing trade in the same asset. A buy and a sell of the same asset within 30 minutes is treated as a single ineligible round-trip.
- 4The trade is not a round-trip of the same asset within the streak day. Buying NVDAx and selling NVDAx within the same 24-hour streak window counts as one trade for streak purposes, regardless of hold time.
- 5The trade settles on Lume’s primary order paths: Jupiter or DFlow for spot tokenised equities, or Hyperliquid for perpetual futures. Off-platform trades, manual transfers, and direct wallet-to-wallet transactions do not count.
4. Excluded trades
The following categories of trades do not advance the streak, regardless of notional or hold time:
- Stablecoin ↔ stablecoin swaps (USDC, USDT, USDY, PYUSD, EURC, and equivalents)
- Trades between two assets the user held both sides of within the prior 24 hours
- Rapid round-trips executed within 30 minutes
- Trades initiated from accounts identified as part of multi-account funding patterns, sybil clusters, or coordinated trading rings
- Trades funded by streak rewards or referral rewards within the 7-day reward unlock window
- Trades that fail or are reverted on-chain
- Trades on assets flagged by Lume as ineligible for reward purposes (a public list is maintained in the Lume help centre)
5. Anti-wash-trade enforcement
Lume operates automated and manual review of streak-eligible trades. Wash trading — defined as trading with no genuine economic purpose, primarily to inflate trade count, volume, or to game a reward program — is strictly prohibited.
Lume may, at its sole discretion and without obligation to disclose detection methodology:
- Reject a trade as ineligible at the time of execution or retroactively
- Pause a user's streak progression pending review
- Forfeit accrued or pending rewards in whole or in part
- Claw back rewards already delivered if abuse is identified post-distribution
- Suspend or terminate the user's account
Detection signals include but are not limited to: round-trip frequency, hold-time distribution, counterparty concentration, IP and device clustering, funding-source re-use, on-chain wallet-graph analysis, price-impact patterns relative to comparable trades, time-of-day patterns, and statistical outlier detection across the user’s historical activity.
Lume does not pre-disclose specific thresholds or model parameters. Doing so would defeat the purpose of the anti-abuse system. Users acting in good faith who execute normal trades are extremely unlikely to trigger enforcement.
6. Reward delivery
- Rewards are issued within 72 hours of the seventh consecutive eligible streak day, subject to anti-abuse review.
- The reward is a randomly selected tokenised U.S. equity (xStock or Ondo asset) delivered to the user’s Lume wallet on Solana. Asset selection is at Lume’s sole discretion based on inventory and market conditions.
- The reward’s reference value at issuance is $15 USD-equivalent. The asset’s actual market value may differ at the moment of delivery and will continue to fluctuate after delivery.
- Rewards are non-transferable for 24 hours from delivery. After 24 hours the asset is fully owned and may be sold, swapped, or transferred at the user’s discretion.
- Rewards have no cash equivalent prior to user disposal. Lume does not redeem rewards for fiat, stablecoin, or other tokens before the 24-hour unlock.
7. Taxes
The user is solely responsible for any tax liability arising from the receipt or disposal of streak rewards in their jurisdiction. For users in Nigeria, streak rewards may be reportable as miscellaneous or other income under FIRS rules; users should consult a qualified tax advisor. Lume does not withhold tax on reward delivery and does not provide tax advice.
8. Program operation and changes
- The program is currently restricted to users on Nigerian Onramper rails. Lume may expand or contract the geographic eligibility at any time.
- Lume may modify reward amounts, eligibility rules, or any section of these terms with seven (7) days’ noticevia in-app message, email to the user’s registered address, or update to this page. Material changes are flagged at the top of this document for at least 30 days following the change.
- Lume may suspend or end the program at any time. Streaks in progress at the time of termination receive a reward at Lume’s discretion based on streak completion percentage and good-faith participation.
9. Disputes
Disputes regarding reward eligibility, anti-abuse enforcement, or reward delivery must be filed with Lume support at support@lumefi.app within 14 days of the event giving rise to the dispute. Lume will investigate and respond within 14 business days. Lume’s determination on reward eligibility is final.
10. Governing law and entity
The Lume streak reward program is operated by Lume Foundation, a non-profit DAO LLC registered in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The Lume application interface is built and operated by LumeFi Inc., a Delaware corporation. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Lume is not a UAE-, India-, or Nigeria-licensed broker, exchange, or financial institution. Tokenised assets remain in the user’s self-custodied wallet at all times.
